To all Seatoun school families
Seatoun school is partnering with Forward Gear to help clothe children in need in decile one (primary) schools in Wellington
This very successful programme works by “buddying up” a child in need with a Seatoun school family that can provide him or her with good quality, used clothing and footwear.
When you join the programme, you will get the name of a child that can fit the type of clothes (by sex and size) you can provide. These children are from Corinna, Holy Family and Tairangi schools – all decile one schools in Porirua and Kahurangi school in Strathmore.
The clothing needs to be clean (and unstained) and of high quality with a decent amount of wear left in it.
All you need to do is package up the clothes, label with your Forward Gear kid’s name, along with your name, and drop the donation to reception. We will then re-pack the clothes into easy-to-carry reusable bags, and we will deliver the bags to your Forward Gear kid.
How do I join?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, email address, phone number and the size and sex of clothing you can provide. Please also confirm that you are a Seatoun school family (the programme also involves Scots college families).
