Part Time After School Care Supervisor/Team Member Position.

Are you interested in working two or three afternoons each week?  2.30pm – 6.00pm  (and potentially one week of full time hours per term holidays and two weeks before the school year starts).

As an After School Care Supervisor you will have general child care assistant duties which are to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all children on the programme.  You will assist in the delivery of a quality programme that includes sports, cooking, arts and crafts activities, as well as keeping the venue clean and tidy!

Job requirements:

  • Availability for AFTER School Hours 2.30pm onwards for at least two afternoons per week (weekdays) is essential
  • Applicants must be able to work during term time and will be offered work over the primary school holidays (programmes run 1st week of each school holiday).
  • Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, and enjoy working with children. A current first aid certificate is an advantage.

Hours of work will vary between 7 – 20 hours per week during term time, and 12-24 hours per week during school holiday periods. The job is best suited to applicants living on or near the Miramar Peninsula.  There is a public bus stop near the school.
